“It’s all done with a little scientific magic. You see, each little blueberry is coated with a thin layer of goat embryonic fluid.”
That is an actual quote from 1993’s Roger Corman produced Carnosaur. That same year, another dinosaur movie would become a turning point in special effects, although that movie didn’t have the balls to feature a human/dinosaur birthing scene!
I had always seen this video in the video store and been curious. What also had me curious was the quote from Siskel & Ebert’s Gene Siskel: “THUMBS UP…Terrific! I liked this movie.”
Huh? Can you imagine being in the studio when Siskel dropped that review? I would love to know what Roger Ebert was thinking at the time.
This is a shit movie. However, this is one of those shit movies you want to see again. In fact, in the near future, I’ll be visiting Carnosaur 2 and then Carnosaur 3!
