Viewing Notes

The movie in which George Clooney becomes a bobblehead and there’s a lot of Bat-ass.

BATMAN & ROBIN is almost, almost, one of those movies that’s so bad it’s fun, but it’s not. Maybe it’s my love for Batman, but I hate this movie. Frankly, I never thought I’d watch it again, but The Great Batman Project demanded I watch it, and so I did.

Ugh.

There are so many terrible, horrible things that are wrong with this movie, it’s difficult to name them all. Bat-ass, bat-skates, Mr. Freeze, BANE, Alicia Silverstone appearing to be drunk all the time (who could blame her?)...it’s revolting on every level. Joel Schumacher so blighted the memory of the character that I thought to never see a redemption because studios would never take a chance again on the character.

Thank Shazam we have Chris Nolan.
