This, along with BARTON FINK and LADYKILLERS, were the Cohen Bros movies I hadn’t seen…though I never did finish HUDSUCKER PROXY; I should fix that. At any rate, I had no preconceptions about MILLER’S CROSSING other than that I’d probably like it. And I did. I liked it a lot. The dialogue was snappy and the sets magnificent; I’d expect no less.
I didn’t follow everything, but that may be because I might having been indulging in some adult refreshments heavily. But, I got the gist of it and it really snapped for me. Now I need to rewatch it.
