Overview

For Nick, Kurt and Dale, the only thing that would make the daily grind more tolerable would be to grind their intolerable bosses into dust. Quitting is not an option, so, with the benefit of a few-too-many drinks and some dubious advice from a hustling ex-con, the three friends devise a convoluted and seemingly foolproof plan to rid themselves of their respective employers… permanently.

Viewing Notes

At first blush a year ago, I really liked HORRIBLE BOSSES and found it better than BRIDESMAIDS. A year later, I’m not nearly as impressed as I was.

It’s still funny, just not nearly as so. A lot of the jokes don’t hold up as well, and maybe it’s just one of those movies that needs a big audience to play for laughs; I rarely found myself chucking.

Still, I loved all of the performances and think it’s a decent comedy; it’s just not the hit I remember.
