A movie about Scrooge certainly isn’t a new concept. There have been 1,345.3 renditions on film, according to my interwebs searching. SCROOGED is the best one.
The core elements are all here, but SCROOGED wins by being meta and hilariously funny at the same time. And, as an 8 year old kid, The Ghost of Christmas Future scared the bejesus out of me when he opened his cloak to show the people trapped inside me.
There is nothing wrong with this movie. It’s a perfect adaptation.
