Santa Claus is actually a demon who lost a bet with an angel, so he became the giver of toys and happiness. But this year the bet is off, and Santa is about to return to his evil ways.

I expected more of a lump of coal than a present in my stocking with a movie starring Bill “Goldberg” Goldberg, but Santa surprised me with SANTA’S SLAY.
The movie is downright fun; the opening kill scene with James Caan and Fran Drescher convinced me of it right away. I was surprised, however, that it wasn’t more bloody but that’s neither here nor there.
It’s not a perfect movie and there’s some kinda stupid stuff at times, but it’s not hard to overlook because they’re really minor faults. Mainly I just wanted Santa to kill more people and make some more examples out of people. My only qualm about the story was that I think I would rather it have been about Santa getting fed up with modern giving attitudes, giving presents to the worthy and slaying the rest. But, I’ll take it as it is…though I really have no choice do I.
SANTA’S SLAY is a romp and it will be an annual viewing tradition.
