Didn’t have many expectations for this documentary, and I ended up really enjoying it. Just like the simplicity of Jiro’s sushi, the documentary is very simple and straight forward and clean.
My one criticism: where was Jiro’s wife in this? They focus on every other member of his family except her. Even if she’s dead there should’ve been a mention of her at least.
