Overview

After losing their academic posts at a prestigious university, a team of parapsychologists goes into business as proton-pack-toting “ghostbusters” who exterminate ghouls, hobgoblins and supernatural pests of all stripes. An ad campaign pays off when a knockout cellist hires the squad to purge her swanky digs of demons that appear to be living in her refrigerator.

Viewing Notes

GHOSTBUSTERS is one of the hardest movies for me to criticize because it’s such a perfect sci-fi comedy. If I had anything to say it’s that I wish that Egon, Zed, and Ray got a few more minutes of screentime and Gozer had a few more minutes to be a real threat. Every other criticism I’ve ever heard or read of the movie is wholly invalid.

GHOSTBUSTERS is one of the reasons why I love cinema.
