Overview

A precocious youngster that gets into trouble all the time? No, it’s not HOME ALONE…it’s PROBLEM CHILD, a movie whose star had an even shorter career than MacCaulay’s.

I remember really liking this flick as a 10 year old, and for the first half, it really holds up. The humor is way more crude than the expected comparison of HOME ALONE and it’s appreciated, though I’m surprised it made as much money as it did as a result.

Unfortunately in the last quarter it takes the wholly expected “beat the bad guy” turn and really loses its rude and crude tude and thus, its stride. It’s corny, but fun and thankfully short.
