Overview

Based on a shocking true story, Killer Elite pits two of the world’s most elite operatives—Danny, an ex-special ops agent and Hunter, his longtime mentor—against the cunning leader of a secret military society. Covering the globe from Australia to Paris, London and the Middle East, Danny and Hunter are plunged into a highly dangerous game of cat and mouse—where the predators become the prey.

Viewing Notes

The biggest problem with KILLER ELITE is that it doesn’t know what it wants to be: Jason Statham action romp with quips, or serious, thoughtful action movie. There’s also a useless, throwaway romance that detracts from the movie and gives Robert Deniro a reason to stay in the film longer and justify a paycheck; I don’t care if it was a part of the real story or not. Also, I fell asleep if that tells you anything.
Memorable line: “You can call me MFWIC…mother fucker what’s in charge.”
