I definitely liked X-MEN: FIRST CLASS, but it’s overhyped and the second-best X-MEN film. The film is better than X1, and it’s leaps and bounds beyond X3, but X2 still tops it as a more well-rounded, complete film. Vaughan has some great ideas, beats, and sequences, but he missed several opportunities to really amp the film up. The film also.
