Overview
Two hippies on their way to a cocaine deal get stopped by the police at a roadblock, resulting in a shootout where they kill the cops. They then go on a crime spree of robbery and murder.

Viewing Notes
COP KILLERS is a movie with an unusually jaunty soundtrack for a serious road trip story about two murderers; it also takes the long road in getting to the point. But, there are some great almost Coen-like character moments in there, though I don’t know how intentional it was.
