Viewing Notes

I was honestly surprised by FAST FIVE; it’s the most respectable movie of the series. It’s not my favorite, but it is the most respectable and barely qualifies as a guilty pleasure. It’s largely devoid of Hotwheels cars and glaring personalities. Instead, Justin Lin puts together a nice OCEAN’S-like heist film with the FAST faces. The downside is that we don’t get a number of gratuitous car chases. Instead, we’re left with one massive, destructive run at the end.
