SUPERMAN is such a wonderful, innocent and well-intentioned movieā¦and then the last five minutes ruin it. But, it is still a shining example of what I miss from modern cinema: a lack of cynicism. I blame Marvel Comics, actually.
Also, this edition I watched had extended Krypton footage, and I really don’t understand why it was left on the cutting room floor. It’s great!
