What an incredibly dumb movie. There was a lot of dumb stuff in the first two Christopher Reeve Superman movies, but they always had a certain charm about them. With part 3 though, the Salkinds really managed to pull it down into hell even further and just make it stupid. The villians are poor replacements for Lex and the gags for Richard Pryor can barely be called even that. The only saving grace is the few moments of Christopher Reeve as Emo Superman.
