Viewing Notes
An early German talkie that takes on vampires, more from the CAMILLA-style rather than Stoker’s creation. Not nearly on the level of Nosferatu for scares, but there are some wonderfully creepy moments. The young girl looking hungrily at those in the room, or our hero’s journey in a windowed coffin. The POV shots out of said window are rattling and amazing.
