Don’t remember why this jumped up in my Netflix queue but it has Christopher Walken and aliens so how can you go wrong?
Surprised that this has such a mediocre score on IMDb because I found it pretty damn interesting, mostly due to Walken’s awesome performance. He is really natural and conveys the emotional pain and psychological doubt well. The only thing I really have a problem with is the design of one of the aliens. There are two different styles. The “little blue doctors”, as they’re referred to, are quite creepy and interesting, but the lanky, big-eyed cliches are just that. Not only are they typical but they are VERY fake looking and don’t have the “wow factor” of the others. Kind of sad.
