Third time seeing this movie, first since theaters a couple years ago. Still holds up really well. Possibly even better. I know not everyone is a fan of JJ Abrams or this movie, but I really connect with these kids. This was me and my friends.
So much nostalgia for the time period and the homage/feel of the Spielberg films of the 70s-80s. When this first came out I saw tons of people complain about the cheap nostalgia effect that drew people in, but I don’t care what they say/think. Nostalgia is not necessarily a bad thing and this is a film I’m happy to own. It will be watched for many years to come.
