Overview

Chan Wing Yan, a young police officer, has been sent undercover as a mole in the local mafia. Lau Kin Ming, a young mafia member, infiltrates the police force. Years later, their older counterparts, Chen Wing Yan and Inspector Lau Kin Ming, respectively, race against time to expose the mole within their midst.

Viewing Notes

This is the Asian movie that Scorsese’s film THE DEPARTED is based upon. I can see the definite basic story, though it’s been quite some time since I’ve seen the remake. (This will be rectified soon)

The original has some good action and tense moments, all helped by some great actin by the leading men. Might have to check out the two sequels soon.
