Viewing Notes

What a fun time!

So glad that the first Friday the 13th after the Drafthouse opened they chose this one. A real cheesy affair. Not that I don’t love all of the Jason films, but this is not one of my two or three favs.

I do, however, remember seeing this in the theater with my father. Possibly… probably opening weekend when I was a young lad of nine. We both laughed a lot at the uppercut that knocks the boxer’s head off and sends it flying into a dumpster. Absurdity!

Good memories then, and a great screening to add a new memory for the film history of Damon.

Wonder which one they’ll show on the next Friday the 13th? I only have to wait three months.
