Overview
A young woman learns that she has inherited a Texas estate from her deceased grandmother. After embarking on a road trip with friends to uncover her roots, she finds she is the sole owner of a lavish, isolated Victorian mansion. But her newfound wealth comes at a price as she stumbles upon a horror that awaits her in the mansion’s dank cellars.

This isn’t absolutely horrible - but it’s also not good.
The deaths can be pretty awesome at times, but I just could not shake the rest of the film that makes no sense. This has a young girl who was a baby in the Sawyer family from the time of the original incident/film. Now she’s grown-up and coming home. The only problem is that she’s in her, maybe, mid-20s and it’s present day. I just kept concentrating on that and couldn’t really get pulled into the story. It was nice to see all of the cameos by stars from previous CHAINSAW entries, though.
