Viewing Notes

Finally got to watch this original film that inspired the remake, THE BIRDCAGE. This is still funny but seems also strangely more serious. Maybe it’s the translation of humor between countries. I do love a few things that they did differently here, like the parade of drag queens coming into the apartment right after they figure out that Albin is a man. Hilarious.
