The music is decent. I have issues with newer Metallica, as most do, and Hetfield’s voice isn’t what it used to be but they seem to still put on a hell of a show.
As far as the whole “story” aspect. Meh. I read the theories that the bag has Cliff’s ashes/soul - a la PULP FICTION - and I guess that’s all well and good, but I would’ve been fine with just the performances.
Also, this is the most well-behaved metal crowd ever. The few times I saw a pit start it was laughable. Makes it seem really fake.
