Horror Society special event film festival at Portage Theater in Chicago to celebrate women in horror, namely directors and writers. In addition to several shorts the main features included Devi Snively's TRIPPIN' (in addition to her short "I Spit on Eli Roth" - she was there to introduce and Q&A), Kathryn Bigelow's NEAR DARK in 35mm and finally Debra Hill's THE FOG in 35mm! Great event and lots of friends and familiar faces there. Wish they'd do this again.
