Ron’s annual horror movie marathon in the Secret Cinema to celebrate spooky season. This year features 8 films, one less than last year, but roughly the same time schedule! Festivities begin at 10 AM and wrap up a little before 1 AM with 10 minute breaks between movies and an hour dinner break. Here are the hints for this year's movies: 1) An early '80s sequel to a classic by a soon-to-be famous director. 2) Distant outpost. Mutating technology. Alien connections. 3) An unhinged brat packer celebrates the 100 year anniversary of 1888 London in L.A. by painting the town red. 4) A late ‘80s direct-to-cable supernatural chiller. 5) A venerated writer/director of horror adapts another writer’s work for a mid-80’s technology gone wrong thriller. 6) An underseen horror anthology that adapts stories from a master of the written word. 7) A terrifying 21st century religious cult film perfectly suited for the pandemic era. Sure, we’ve seen it before but never on Blu-ray! 8) Late ‘90s nautical horror that doesn’t get nearly enough love. This “babysitter” knows how to run a tugboat.
