Overview

Kite offers an intimate personal essay and audio/video triptych that weaves a speculative narrative across eras and locations in Los Angeles and the history of the U.S. “Three Diffractions of LA” sees the Indian Relocation Act, the formation of the LAPD, the DTLA rave scene, and the disappearance of relatives through a metonymic kaleidoscope, a collapsing neutron star.
