Overview
Ordinary young man Akira Higashino accepts a suspiciously high-paying job after losing his convenience store job, only to discover that he and four other troubled people have been recruited by a secret government organization to eliminate violent oni hiding among humans. Chosen because they are seen as “background characters” whose disappearances would go unnoticed, the five must now protect Japan while trying to survive their dangerous new lives.
