Overview
TJFF presents the pilot episode of the award-winning Israeli series that inspired the American hit, Homeland. Set in 2008, this first episode focuses on two Israeli soldiers being released after 17 years of captivity in Lebanon. It powerfully explores their initial adjustment to civilian life, as well as the impact of their release on their families who are now trying to prepare for being reunited. Featuring a terrific cast that includes Mili Avital (Noodle) and Yael Abecassis (Live and Become).
