Overview
Set among the highly diverse and adaptive student body of a midwestern public elementary school, LEMON SHARK reflects the realities of everyday people trying to survive and thrive in an ever-changing world. Kindergarten and music teacher Freddie and her thirteen year old daughter Sam, seek refuge in their community, family, friends, science and music. Freddie—a single mom and child at heart—is grappling with a sudden loss, while science-minded Sam delves into her study of endangered species; demonstrating to them both the impact of loving that which is endangered. LEMON SHARK follows Freddie and Sam as they move into deeper waters; revealing their resilience, capacity for growth and inextricable bond.
