Overview

In the aftermath of the Kilrathi War, a battered Terran Confederation finds itself struggling to re-establish galactic order. As tensions mount between the Confederation and its longtime ally, the Border Worlds, retired war hero Colonel Christopher Blair is recalled to duty to aid in re-establishing peace. But there are sinister forces at work behind the scenes, and Blair is soon confronted by hard choices between duty and conscience that will lead him to become an outlaw in the eyes of the civilization he sacrificed everything to save.
