Overview
Married couple Fujijiro and Taeko live at the foot of Mt. Fuji with their 3-year-old daughter Natsuko. One day, Taeko is assaulted and later gives birth to Kanako. Unable to bear village rumors, Taeko commits suicide. 20 years later, Natsuko goes a quest to find the missing Kanako after seeing her picture in a gravure magazine…
