Overview

At the end of the Edo period, nine-year-old Katsugoro told his older sister that he was the reincarnation of Tozo, who had died in a neighboring village. A live-action adaptation of Koizumi Yakumo’s “Katsugoro Saisei Ki”, which is based on a reincarnation incident that is also recorded in the official documents of the Edo magistrate’s office.
