Reissued version of ‘The Phantom of the Opera’ with a synchronized score, sound effects, new dialogue sequences, and footage reshot by directors Ernst Laemmle and Frank McCormick. Currently thought to be lost in Universal’s 1948 studio fire, although soundtrack discs survived, as well as short excerpts in the public domain.
