Overview
A staged reading of the screenplay for The Breakfast Club, John Hughes’ beloved 1985 film, presented by Acting for a Cause. Five high school students from different cliques are forced to spend a Saturday in detention, where their shared vulnerabilities and struggles break down barriers and lead to unexpected connections. All proceeds are destined towards amfAR’s mission to support HIV/AIDS research, prevention, treatment, and advocacy worldwide.
