Viewing Notes

Cronenberg’s first “feature” film (though it’s really more of a long student film) is fascinating, mostly for the themes he would develop in his later films.

It can be a bit of a slog, but there’s no denying his talent displayed here as a filmmaker. I was especially impressed by the cinematography and the framing of the shots.
