It’s based on a true story, but I’m sure it took some liberties, especially with the conclusion. However, as just a straight forward thriller, it’s pretty darn good. There’s no ambiguity about who the good guys and the bad guys are, and you can’t wait to see the racists get their comeuppance. Hackman and Dafoe are great, as usual, and there’s an amazing supporting cast.
