Not what I had expected. It’s part horror, part noir, part David Lynch. It has a mostly leisurely pace, leading up to a nightmarish ending.
Film and video play a part in the story, but I’m not exactly sure what the filmmakers were implying (that it somehow influences the horror that occurs?).
The first feature film from Joshua Erkman and, though not entirely successful, he might be a director to keep an eye on.
