Viewing Notes

The first time I saw this film, years ago, I was lukewarm about it, but I’ve since come around full circle. One of the best crime films I’ve ever seen.

It’s brutal and violent and Lee Marvin is a force of nature, just relentless in his need for revenge. Very stylish. It’s also great-looking, with location filming in LA and SF.
