Almost an impossible task to follow up on 2001: A SPACE ODYSSEY. It’s a worthy effort with very good visual effects and good performances. Probably the biggest mistake was trying to answer the questions that were left unanswered in the original, but which made 2001 mysterious and awe-inspiring.
