In another director’s hands, this story of an art museum heist and man-on-the-run would most likely be an action thriller. It’s entirely different with Kelly Reichardt’s usual low-key approach and focus on the mundane.
I really liked it. It’s not laugh out loud, but I was chuckling through the whole thing. I loved the 1970’s look.

It being a seventies period piece was the biggest draw for me. Really nailed that aesthetic.
