One word: somber. As hell. Be prepared for a story dealing with pain, death, and grief. Not exactly a rollicking good time.
Even though it’s an emotional gut punch, the ending is ultimately hopeful.
The performances are first rate. Jessie Buckley is a marvel (I doth predict a Best Actress Oscar for her).

This is the main reason why I haven’t gone to see this. Haven’t wanted to spend 2 hours with this feeling.
