Utter nonsense and excruciatingly long (the director’s cut is 2 hours and 20 minutes). I don’t know if anything is real in this movie. And I don’t mean because of any ambiguous plotting. I mean that outside of the actors everything looks digitally created. It makes an already poorly scripted film (little touches meant to be winks at the original come off as someone completely misunderstanding that superior film) become visually un-engaging as well, leaving little more than pretty faces to bounce around CG backdrops while vocalizing bullshit.
