Viewing Notes

This is it. The first Cronenberg film I flat out don’t like. For the first time watching a Cronenberg film I felt like I didn’t understand what story he was trying to tell me not because he is smarter than me, but because he didn’t even know. A scattershot narrative, obnoxious pacing and a truly repulsive performance from Keira Knightley just made the experience annoying.
