Watched as part of my project to fill in my blanks on the IMDB top 250. It’s undeniably a great film but I think its impact on me was weakend by years of watching movies that copy its formula. I also never really cared much for Adrian or her arc which sort of undercut the emotional weight of the finale. Still, loved the character of Rocky and Mickey. And it’s always great to see Joe Spinell pop up in a movie.
