Viewing Notes
Everett McGill and Wendy Robie make for a grrreat couple of psycho weirdos as slumlords who are completely out of their minds. The premise is not strong enough to support the running time, but it’s a pleasure to watch McGill and Robie chew the scenery, and contemplate how much mileage Craven gets out of so little narrative fuel. A very surprising ending, to boot.
