A large spider from the jungles of South America is accidentally transported in a crate with a dead body to America where it mates with a local spider. Viewing Notes

via Netflix

Sometimes it’s better to not watch a film you remember fondly from your teens.  While some of this hasn’t held up well, at all, it’s still got a decent dark sense of humor about it.  It doesn’t do anything ground-breaking though and you can instantly tell when it’s the animatronic spider versus the real ones they let loose.  The smart people act dumb, the experts act even dumber than the smart people and John Goodman is still hilarious as the exterminator.
