Set six months after a deadly outbreak has all but ended the human race, a man and woman have survived by isolating themselves in a remote cabin and never opening the door. Now they don’t have a choice. Starved for resources, they must confront the horrors that threaten them… but what’s inside may be even more toxic than what remains outside. When it all ends, this is what remains.

Toying with an idea that I’d seen before, this is a very slow burn and kind of a different look at the survivors, mainly the poor person stuck waiting at home going stir crazy waiting for the other person going out into the zombies to get supplies. The acting in this is actually pretty good, but the pacing is just too damned slow. Even at an hour and 22 minutes, this kind of story could have easily wrapped up within an hour of a TV show or even an episode of The Twilight Zone and would have worked so much better. While I can’t go into specifics because it would ruin it, it was worth at least the one watch, but I probably won’t revisit it again.
