Overview
Thor fights to restore order across the cosmos… but an ancient race led by the vengeful Malekith returns to plunge the universe back into darkness. Viewing Notes
I still really like this one. The lighter tone in a lot of it offsets the more weighted scenes beautifully. I actually only popped this on to fall in line with my first run through of Agents of SHIELD Season One on Netflix so that I saw this before the episodes that tied into it. I’m planning on doing that with Captain America Winter Soldier and Guardians of the Galaxy as well. I think my biggest complaint watching them this way is that AoS just doesn’t fit in tone or production style nearly as well as it should with the Marvel films. I was expecting some differences, but either way, Thor The Dark World is still fun.
