When 17-year-old Kat Conner’s mom, Eve, vanishes, the teen realizes her new-found freedom, until the reality of her loss sets in. This should have been something I liked. I like the actors, but this feels so bland and kind of middling that I just couldn’t get into it at all. It feels average and not all that interesting.
