An industrialist gathers a group of businessmen to unveil an exciting new chemical process. But soon the event takes a diastrous and deadly turn as people at the vacation island keep getting killed off. This, like a lot of Bava films, has a great premise, but I don’t know if it’s the 70s or what but the few I’ve watched from this compared to his 60s films just aren’t as good. I like the mystery attached to it and the ending doesn’t fall apart like the last one I watched, but there’s something about this one that just isn’t quite as there as his other films.
